Detailed Solution

James Hargreaves invented the spinning jenny.
The invention of the spinning Jenny by James Hargreaves in 1764 was a significant advancement for the textile sector during the Industrial Revolution. It lessened the amount of labour required to make cloth. This machine would create about 120 rolls, compared to 8 workers at a time. The spinning jenny, which was supposed to introduce the factory system of producing cotton, became the game-changer during the industrial revolution.
