Detailed Solution

James Hargreaves invented the spinning jenny. The invention of the spinning jenny, a multi-spindle spinning frame, in 1764 was a significant advancement for the textile sector during the Industrial Revolution. It was utilised for cotton or wool spinning. It reduced the amount of labour required to make cloth. This machine would create about 120 spools per day, compared to a worker's eight at a time. The spinning jenny produced some yarn, but it was not exceptionally sturdy. Richard Arkwright created the water-powered water frame as a remedy for this.
