Who is eligible for IB 2025?

To be eligible for the IB ACIO 2025 examination (Assistant Central Intelligence Officer Grade-II/Executive), candidates generally need to meet the following criteria:

1. Nationality: You must be a citizen of India.

2. Age Limit: The age of the candidate should be between 18 and 27 years.

Age relaxations are provided for candidates belonging to reserved categories as per government rules. Common relaxations include:

• SC/ST: 5 years
• OBC: 3 years
• Departmental candidates (with 3 years of continuous service): Up to 40 years
• Widows, divorced women, and women judicially separated from their husbands (and not remarried): Up to 35 years for General, and up to 40 years for SC/ST/OBC.
• Ex-servicemen and certain sportspersons: As per government instructions.

3. Educational Qualification:

• Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent from a recognized university. There is usually no minimum percentage required in graduation.
• Knowledge of computers is often a desirable qualification, though not always strictly essential for the Executive post, it's highly preferred. For specific technical posts (like ACIO-II/Tech), a specific engineering degree (e.g., in Electronics, Computer Science) or a Master's degree in relevant science subjects might be required, along with a valid GATE score. (However, for the general ACIO-II/Executive post, a simple graduation is usually enough).
