Detailed Solution

Martin Luther is the author of Ninety-Five Theses. This unlikely union began in 1517 when Catholic priest Martin Luther published his legendary Ninety-Five Theses, which ironically included the need to abolish indulgences like those Gutenberg had been publishing. This call for significant changes in the Church made Luther the first modern bestselling author and led to the adoption of the term "indulgences." Most of Europe was Protestant by the year 1600.
