Detailed Solution

Gaganendranath was the founder of a contemporary nationalist Bengali cartoon.
Cartoons and caricatures commenting on social and political topics began to appear in journals and newspapers by 1870. In some caricatures, educated Indians were mocked for their love of western fashion and tastes, while others were shown to be afraid of societal change. The Bengali Society at that time was reflected in the Single coloured of bi-coloured cartoons. Under Gaganendranath, Indian cartoons became much more significant throughout the country, not just in Bengal. He is frequently referred to as the founder of contemporary nationalist Bengali cartoons as a result. Virup Vajra, Reform Screams, and Adbhut Loke: Realm Of The Absurd are three series of caricatures that Tagore produced between 1915 and 1921. In these works, he not only poked fun at Hindu orthodoxy and the contradictions and pretensions that are inherent in its practice, but he also satirised the Hindu religion as a whole but also took down the Bengalis in a ruthlessly satirical manner.
