Detailed Solution

The Bolshevik party in Russia during the Russian Revolution was led by Vladimir Lenin. Lenin was a Russian revolutionary, politician, and political theorist. He established and ruled the first communist state in the world in Russia from 1917-1924. Soldiers, peasants, and workers made up the council of the new Leninist government. In St. Petersburg and throughout Russia, the Bolsheviks and their supporters took control of strategic places after the October Revolution of 1917. Soon after, they established a new government with Lenin as its leader and changed their name to the "communist party."
