Detailed Solution

Father Gapon led the procession of workers to the event 'Bloody Sunday' in Russia. He was an orthodox priest and popular working class leader. The procession was just a complaint to the king in which he was letting everyone know about the working conditions of the city and calling for change. The petition became popular overnight. When the procession of workers reached the king's palace, police attacked them. Many workers lost their lives, and many were wounded. A series of events took place, which led Russia to the 1905 Revolution, in which Tsar Nicholas was forced into a semi-monarchical government along with the Parliament.
