Detailed Solution

Mahatma Gandhi raised the slogan "Do Or Die".
This slogan became famous in the Quit India Movement, also known as August Kranti Movement. It was started at the All Indian National Congress session in Bombay. Additionally, it was decided that civil disobedience would begin if the demand for a complete transfer of power were not granted. It is well known that Mahatma Gandhi was instrumental in releasing India from British control. In his Quit India address, delivered on August 7, 1942, in Bombay at the Gowalia Tank Maidan, Gandhi urged listeners to "Do or Die." In other words, the Bharat Chhodo Andolan, the final significant civil disobedience movement formed before India became an independent nation in 1947, was sparked by the infamous "Do or Die" speech.
