Detailed Solution

Prince Akbar rebelled against Aurangzeb.
The Marathas and the Deccan Sultanates supported Prince Akbar's uprising against Aurangzeb. In the end, he escaped to Safavid Iran. Following the collapse of his uprising against his father, Akbar left the Deccan. Later, he fled to Persia and passed away there. Following Akbar's uprising, Aurangzeb dispatched troops to attack the Deccan Sultanates. In 1685, in Bijapur and 1687, Golconda was annexed. Aurangzeb oversaw wars in the Deccan against the Marathas, who had begun guerrilla warfare in 1698. Aurangzeb also had to deal with the revolts of the Ahoms in the northeast, the Sikhs in North India, the Jats in the south, and the Marathas in the Deccan.
