Detailed Solution

The Constitution sets the power of different levels of government in the federal government.
The constitution of India provides a Federal form of government in which power is divided between the centre and its units i.e., states. A federal form of government is a political setup that divides power between a central authority and the many constituent areas of a country. There are two types of authority in a federation. The first is the government for the entire country, which is usually in charge of a few topics of shared national concern. The others are provincial or state governments that handle much of the day-to-day administration of their state. Both levels of government wield power independently of one another.
