Detailed Solution

Bodhisattva was a person who attained enlightenment.
Once they attained enlightenment, they used to help the people to achieve the highest bliss. Bodhisattvas were the people belonging to the Mahayana form of Buddhism who used to worship Buddha in the form of statues. They used to pray to Buddha statues, and many of these statues were found in the region of Mathura and Takshila. The specialty of Mahayana Buddhism was once they attained enlightenment, they used to remain in isolation and meditate in absolute peace. However, instead of doing this, Bodhisattva remained in the world to help other people to attain enlightenment.
