Detailed Solution

The Jacobins were called Sans-culottes.
The original name Jacobins began from the former convention, Jacobs, in Paris. The club Jacobins housed people who were shopkeepers, crafters similar to confection culinarians, watchmakers, printers, retainers, and daily pay envelope workers. Maximilien Robespierre was the leader of the club. They were also known as Sans-culottes, meaning those without knee-breeches( short trousers fastened below the knee). The members of the Jacobins club wore long striped trousers resembling those worn by the dock workers. In addition to it, the red cap symbolism liberty. However, women were not allowed to share in this club or wear the club's representative apparel.
