Detailed Solution

Rajaraja I was considered as the most powerful Chola ruler. Chola ruler Rajaraja I, also known as Raja Raja the Great, ruled from 985 until 1014 CE. He is known for re-establishing the Chola dominion and securing its dominance over the Indian Ocean during his time as the most powerful king in south India. Campaigns against the Western Gangas and the Chalukyas allowed the Chola Empire to advance as far as the Tungabhadra River. On the eastern shore, he battled the Chalukyas for control of Vengi. Being a skilled administrator, Rajaraja I also constructed the enormous Brihadisvara Temple in Thanjavur, the Chola capital.
