Detailed Solution

Fa-Hien was Pilgrim.
Fa-Hien was one of the famous Buddhist pilgrims who came to India about 1600 years ago. He came to India to search for the teachings of Buddha and learned many of the sayings taught at Nalanda University in Bihar. He also visited the court of Chandragupta 2. In his writings, he gave glimpses of many of his experiences, like the dangers he encountered on his travels, often for many years. Apart from this, he also visited many monasteries and carried back the books he had written while traveling to China. After learning and knowing the teachings of Buddha, he began his journey back home from the Bengal region.
