Ukiyo is a distinguished art form of pictures of the floating world, widely known for depicting ordinary human experiences with a special focus on urban life. This incredible art also influenced western artists in the contemporary US and Europe. Artists like Van Gogh, Manet, and Monet were also influenced by ukiyo. Since the art form first surfaced, publishers and craftsmen have dedicated years to work for its preservation by printing the designs after tracing the frames. Although the original drawings were destroyed, the print has been preserved carefully.
