Detailed Solution

Frederic Sorrieu was a French artist. He formed a series of four prints giving an insight into his dream of a world made up of ‘Democratic and Social Republics’. The highlighting features of these prints were the representations of men, nations, and allegories. In the prints, one can see men and women walking across the Statue of Liberty and paying homage to it. The statue holds a torch of enlightenment in its hand and the Charter of the Rights of Man. Eventually, the remains of the absolutist institutes can be seen broken and shattered on the Earth, giving an indication of the end of conservatism and absolutism.
