Detailed Solution

Tipu Sultan was known as the "Tiger of Mysore."
The stories of kings and their powers are always glorified in folklore. A legend about Tipu Sultan is also there, who was the ruler of Mysore. In folklore, they said that Tipu Sultan went to the forest with his French friend to hunt one day. He faced a tiger there, and his gun didn't work. His dagger also fell to the ground, so he fought with the tiger unarmed until he reached to take his dagger from the ground to pick it up. He killed the tiger in that battle. Later because of this legend of Tipu Sultan, he came to be known as the "Tiger of Mysore."
