Detailed Solution

Kunwar Singh was a zamindar from Bihar.
Kunwar Singh was the insurgent leader of Bihar in the 1857 Revolt. He belonged to the Bhojpur district of the Indian state of Bihar's Ujjainiya clan of the Jagdishpur Parmar Rajputs' Maharaja Zamindar family. At 80, he commanded a small squad of armed troops in battle against the British East India Company's forces. He was in charge of organising the struggle against the British in Bihar. He went by the name Veer Kunwar Singh most frequently. He staged a brave fight and harassed British troops for almost a year, proving unbeatable until the bitter end.
