Detailed Solution

Guiseppe Mazzini was part of the secret society Carbonari. He aimed to unify Italy. Many secret societies emerged as revolutionary youths. In 1807, Guiseppe Mazzini was an Italian revolutionary. He was born in Genoa, and in his youth, he became part of a secret society named "Carbonari". He went to exile at the age of twenty-four in 1831 for attempting a revolution in Liguria. He founded a few more secret and underground societies in Europe—one is Young Italy and another is Young Berne. His vision was to create democratic republics—that is why he became an enemy of conservative orders.
