Detailed Solution

Women were primarily employed in European factories.
The condition of workers after the industrial revolution became significantly worse. Because of the entrance of the machines into the factories, the demand for labour became seasonal, affecting the worker's employment period. Moreover, the workers were getting meager wages, and jobs were available only based on contacts, family relations, and friendship ties. It also brought misery for the women workers because the demand for women workers was very high in the factories as they provided cheap labour. But now, due to the alternative of machines, they were also asked to leave their jobs. Thus because of cheap labour, women demanded more in the job market.
