Detailed Solution

The Bolsheviks were responsible for the 1917 Revolution in Russia.
They were the ones who supported socialism. They abolished the private property which was used for production. Lands of affluent, influential people were confiscated. The titles which were used during the aristocracy were banned. Socialist ideas were seen in every field. They adopted the Decree of Peace by which Russia withdrew from the First World War. They withdrew Russia unilaterally from treaties signed by the Tsar's government. They renamed themselves and called themselves the Russian Communist Party. The autocracy of the Tsar was abolished. After the 1917 Revolution, Russia became a one-party state.
