Detailed Solution

Saadat Khan was the governor of one of the largest provinces of Mughal authority called Avadh.
His full name was Burhan ul Mulk Shahadat Khan, and he was appointed Subhedar of Awadh in 1722. This was the major point for the breakup of the mighty Mughal Empire. He was an efficient ruler and held multiple offices like faujdari, subedar and Diwani. To become an independent ruler, he tried to reduce the Mughal influence in the Awadh region. Avadh was a prosperous region with the fertile lands of Ganga and the centre of the main trade route between Bengal and North India.
