Detailed Solution

Guru Nanak Sahib was the founder of Sikhism.
In the late 15th century, the Punjab region of the Indian subcontinent saw the founding of the Sikhism religion and philosophy. The followers of Sikhism are referred to as Sikhs. Gurmat ("the Way of the Guru") is the name of the religion of the Sikhs. Sikhism was founded by Guru Nanak (1469–1539), and nine more Gurus followed him in succession, according to Sikh history. Sikhs believe that a single spirit lived inside each of the ten human Gurus. Guru Granth Sahib, commonly known as the Adi Granth (First Volume), is the holy text of the Sikhs.
