Detailed Solution

Babur was the founder of the Mughal empire, who succeeded to the throne of Mughal Ferghana in 1494 when he was only 12 years old. Due to the invasion of another Mongol group named Uzbegs, he was forced to leave his ancestral throne. Then, he seized Kabul in 1504. At Panipat, he defeated the Sultan of Delhi, Ibrahim Lodhi of the Lodhi Dynasty in 1526 and captured Delhi and Agra. Babur ruled Delhi for four years from 1526 to 1530. He was succeeded by his son Humayun.
