The host of the Vienna Congress was Duke Metternich, who belongs to the monarchy. The congress of Vienna was organized in 1814-1815, in Vienna. The main objective of the Vienna Congress was to establish a long term peaceful atmosphere in Europe. The Vienna Congress was set up when the French revolutionary wars were started. Then the sittings of the Vienna congress got started in Sept 1814 and it was completed before the final defeat of Napoleon in the battle of Waterloo in 1815.
