Detailed Solution

Kushanas were the earliest to issue gold coins in the subcontinent.
Along the Silk Route, traders utilised these gold coins. The Kushanas, who dominated central Asia and north-western India about 2000 years ago, are the most well-known of the kings who controlled the Silk Route. Peshawar and Mathura were their two main political hotspots. Their dominion also encompassed Taxila. A section of the Silk Route connected Central Asia to the seaports at the Indus River's mouth during their dominion allowed silk to be transported to the Roman Empire via the west.
