Detailed Solution

Pilgrims journeys to holy places. Pilgrims said to those people (men or women) who travelled to holy places to offer worship to God. They researched the life of Buddha, began writing religious books, and even opened monasteries and universities. One such was Nalanda university which attracted Buddhist pilgrims who came from China. Fa Xian, Xuan Zang, and I-Qing were pilgrims who visited courts of different kings and wrote about their journeys, stories they heard, and monasteries that were visited by them. These pilgrims travelled from foreign countries and took their written accounts back to their homeland.
