Detailed Solution

Martin Luther had written the 95 Theses and was born in Eisleben, Germany. In Wittenberg, he drafted the 95 Theses against indulgences and tacked them to the church door. He went on to become one of western history's most significant figures. Many theologians and academics began to question the Roman Catholic Church. The Bible written by philosopher Augustine became more popular during this period. Augustine preached that the Bible was superior to church authorities and that people would be rescued by their faiths rather than through their actions.
