Although Kailashbashini's book was published two years before Bamasundari Debi's Ki Ki Kushangskar Tirohita Hoile Edesher Shreebriddhi Hoite Pare, scholars have sometimes questioned whether the former qualifies as a full-length book because its word count does not go over 2,550. However, there are similarities between the two pieces, and Kailashbashini herself credits Bamasundari as being her primary inspiration and for being a trailblazer in her field. Kailashbashini also emphasises marriage and domestic life.
Again, presumably based on her own experiences, the author condemns the treatment a married lady experienced in her in-laws' home and suggests that the preferences of the man and the woman should be taken into account before marriage.
