Detailed Solution

"Poverty and Un-British Rule in India" was written by Dadabhai Naoroji. Naoroji is well-known for his contributions to the Indian National Congress, where he served as president three times between 1886 and 1906 and was one of its founding members. His notion of the "wealth drain" from India to Britain was made popular by his book Poverty and Un-British Rule in India. The "drain of wealth" theory, advanced by Dadabhai Naoroji in 1867, claimed that Britain was fully draining India of its resources. He mentioned Britain was plundering and robbing India while filling the treasury of Britain with Indian money.
