Detailed Solution

The biography of King Harshavardhana was known as Harsha Charita.
Harsha Charita is written in the Sanskrit language. Harshavardhana was a king who ruled over India about 1400 years ago. Harshacharita is written by Bana Bhatta, a poet in the court of  Harshavardhana. This biography gives us a glimpse of Harsha Vardhan's genealogy. And also we get to know about his life too. Harshavardhana was his father's eldest son, and after his father's death and his brother's death, he became the King of Thanesar. He later took over another kingdom named Kanauj. He also led an expedition towards the Deccan, but the ruler of the Chalukya dynasty stopped him. This information is included in the biography.
