The book, Hind Swaraj ( Indian home rule), was written by Mahatma Gandhi in 1909. In this book, he gave his views on Swaraj, mechanisation, modern civilisation, etc. The British government banned this book. Mahatma Gandhi wrote that the British established rule in India because the people cooperated with them. They ruled over India for hundreds of years because of Indian support. So he declared that if the Indian people refused to cooperate, the British wouldn't be able to rule over India anymore, and Indians could take back their home (Swaraj would be back).
