Detailed Solution

Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay wrote the song Vande Mataram.
"Vande Mataram", a melody to the homeland, was composed by Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay. In 1870, this sonnet was written in a deeply Sanskritised Bengali (implying an undeniable level of Sanskrit language with Bengali). This song was remembered for his well-known Bengali novel Anandmath, distributed in 1882. Rabindranath Tagore first sang the psalm in 1896 at the meeting of the Indian Public Congress. It became a famous melody for political activism and the Swadeshi movement in 1905. After the Independence of India on January 24, 1950, the constituent gathering embraced "Vande Mataram" as the national song of India.
