Detailed Solution

Alexander Kerensky led the Mensheviks.
The Mensheviks were one of the three main parties of the Russian socialist movement, along with the Bolsheviks and Socialist Revolutionaries. Within the Russian Social Democratic Labour Party, Julius Martov and Vladimir Lenin disagreed, leading to the divisions being formed in 1903. Meanwhile, a member of the Russian Social Democratic party faction opposed the Bolsheviks and supported the gradual implementation of socialism through legislation before the Russian Revolution. On the other hand, the Bolsheviks represented the majority of socialists who desired revolution. However, the Bolsheviks believed that only a revolution led and controlled by the proletariat was necessary, in contrast to the Mensheviks. The latter recognised the need for cooperation with the bourgeoisie (capitalists and industrialists).
