Detailed Solution

Girls stop going to school because of discrimination, Poverty and Lack of facilities.
The female literacy rate is much lower than the male literacy rate. At each level of education, women fall behind men. Women are less likely to go for higher studies or even finish school. This is especially the case in rural areas and other poor areas. Low-income families cannot handle the cost of educating all their children. In such situations, families prefer to send boys to school. They would rather have girls help around the house. Most families see girls as liabilities and are hesitant to spend money on them. Even if they educate the girls, they feel it will only help their future husbands. Lack of facilities is also a significant reason for not sending girls to school. Girls may drop out if the houses are far away from the school and transportation is not readily available. Also, Muslim, Dalit, and Adivasi girls are more likely to drop out of school. This is because of the discrimination these children face.
