Detailed Solution

A rainbow has a circular shape because the raindrops are spherical.
Round raindrops: A rainbow is formed when sunlight is cut off by raindrops in the atmosphere when the sun's rays fall into the water droplets into the water droplet and the rays are reflected back to the droplet as the sun's rays emanate from the water droplet. It is repeated and a rainbow is created, where sunlight is white in color and water droplets act as a prism that opposes white light and makes it scatter in different colors. Then the question arises as to why the rainbow is round, the Ans to this question is, the raindrops are round and as a result the raindrops can disperse the sunlight that occurs on all sides but only the droplets reflect light inside 45 degrees makes the rainbow so this is the right answer.
