Detailed Solution

So much emphasis on changing over from petrol/diesel driven automobiles to CNG vehicles because of all the following reasons:
       CNG doesn't produce smoke.
       CNG is an ideal fuel.
CNG doesn't release harmful gases, which create a greenhouse effect.
Compressed Natural Gas, or CNG, is a fossil fuel substitute for petrol, diesel, or LPG. It is also non-renewable, which is entirely natural. Among all the other non-renewable sources of energy, it is the most eco-friendly fuel. It is commonly referred to as green fuel. It doesn't produce any smoke while burning (without polluting the environment) and leaves no residue. CNG reduces harmful emissions. This property of CNG makes it an ideal fuel.
