Why should we conserve biodiversity?

The variety of living species on Earth, including plants, animals, bacteria, and fungi, is referred to as biodiversity. Biodiversity contributes to the preservation of environmental balance, offers priceless resources like food and medicine, and aids in mitigating the effects of climate change. Furthermore, it is morally and ethically necessary to preserve biodiversity so that future generations can experience and benefit from the variety of species on earth.
