Rainwater harvesting is the method of collecting rainwater from roofs, diverting it to a suitable area, and preserving it for later use. On average, a two-hour rainstorm saves 8,000 litres of water through Rainwater harvesting. Every home had a rainwater harvesting system to collect rainwater and store the rainwater in a tank. It also contributes to an increase in underground water levels.
