Detailed Solution

Swapna sells to the trader at a low price because Swapna had taken a loan from the trader.
Swapna was a peasant farmer in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh, who grew cotton on her plot of land. She furnished the dealer with cotton. Swapna borrowed money from a local dealer to buy seeds, fertiliser, and insecticides. As a result, the merchant offered Swapna a low price because he knew Swaona was financially reliant on him. Swapna was also forced to sell her cotton to a merchant lower than the market. As a result, Swapna and other small farmers are exploited in the marketplace.
