The Act gave the Reich government the authority to impose legal actions without the approval of Germany's parliament, which further aided to Nazism spreading in Germany. The regulation was passed on March 23, 1933. Its full title was the "Law to Remedy the People's and Reich's Distress." Due to this Act, judges in Germany were no longer willing to break the law.
