The US government imprisoned people at Guantanamo Bay because the US considered them enemies and linked them to the attack on New York on 11th September 2001. In the aftermath of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, the US security forces made a large number of arrests all around the world and kept these people in a secret prison in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
