Detailed Solution

Belgium shares its borders with four countries in Europe. These include France and the Netherlands. Germany and Luxembourg, whose land borders surround it all around. Belgium is a tiny country in Europe. It is even smaller in size than the Indian state of Haryana. In population, it is about half of the people of Haryana, meaning it is only a mildly populated country with a population of only a little over one crore. The ethnic composition of this small country is very complex because of the different linguistic groups in other regions of the country. Of the country’s total population, 59 per cent live in the Flemish region. They belong to the Dutch linguistic group. The other part lives in the Wallonia region and is French-speaking. The country has its capital in Brussels.
