Detailed Solution

Women fought to get the right to education.
The fight for autonomy from the British Raj also contained the efforts of numerous groups of people who opposed being treated equally. Dalits, women, tribals, and peasants protested against the unevenness they encountered and for similar treatment. Women demanded equal access to education as men, Dalits fought for entry into temples, and poor peasants and tribals fought to free themselves from the clutches of moneylenders. When India gained independence in 1947, our constitution makers were aware of the inequalities that certain sections of Indian society faced. So, they tried to ensure that all the people were given equal rights and opportunities.
