World forestry day is celebrated on March 21^st. 

It is also called the International Day of Forests which came in by the resolution of the United Nations General Assembly on November 28, 2012 to celebrate and raise awareness of the importance of all types of forests. There are various celebrations, competitions, rallies across the world to share concerns, importance and idea for conservation of forests.
