This virus weakens the system by destroying a kind of white blood cells in our body called T-cells or CD4 cells, which play a key role within the system of the body. When this happens, HIV infection can cause AIDS. it's a posh illness with a range of symptoms. World AIDS Day was first observed in 1988. Since then, World AIDS day is designated on 1st December.
