The nucleosome in chromatin appear as beads on string.
* In nucleosome the negatively charged DNA is wrapped around the positively charged Histone octamer.
* A typical nucleosome contains 200 bp of DNA.
* Histone octamer contains H2A, H2B, H3, H4 two copies of each.
* H1 histone molecule is present outside of the histone octamer.
* In between two nucleosomes linker DNA is present.
