Cytoplasm: It is gel like fluid substance that covers the area between the nucleus and cell membrane. The cytoplasm contains a variety of cell organelles, including ribosomes, mitochondria, endoplasmic reticulum, and others. It facilitates the exchange and storage of materials between cell organelles. Additionally, most metabolic processes take place within the cytoplasm.

Nucleus of a cell: The nucleus is the round, circular body found at the cell's centre.

The nuclear membrane is the membrane that separates the cytoplasm from the nucleus. Since the nuclear membrane is permeable, materials can travel freely between the cytoplasm and nucleus.
A dense mass with a spherical shape known as the nucleolus makes up the nucleus. Chromosomes are thread-like objects found in the nucleus. These carry genes and aid in the transmission of traits from one generation to the next.
