Write the difference between actin and myosin.

Actin:
1. Actin is a thin contractile protein
2. It is present in thin filaments of a myofibril.
3. Each actin filament in made of two ‘F’ actin molecules. Each ‘F’ actin is a polymer of monomeric ‘G’ actin molecules.
Myosin:
1. Myosin is a thick contractile protein
2. Myosins are present as a thick filament in a dark band of myofibril
3. Each myosin is made up of monomeric protein called meromyosins.
