Given,
2 x 2 5x+3=0  
Calculate the discriminant by using the following formula:
D = b 2 4ac[  where a, b, c are the coefficients of the quadratic equation and a0]  
Therefore, from (1)  a=2 b=5 c=3  
Substitute the following values of a, b and c to calculate the discriminant for (1) Therefore,
D= b 2 4ac D= (5) 2 (4×2×3) D=2524 D=1  
Thus, it can be clearly concluded that the discriminant of the given quadratic equation is 1.
So, the correct option is 1.
